| Customer Reviews: Cute book March 6, 2010 Brandon C. Walker (Oklahoma) My daughter doesn't read this book as much as the others. This book focuses on teaching new, larger words. Great for kids that haven't learned those words yet!
Leapfrog Tag books are wonderful. January 27, 2010 FL Mimi (Tampa, Fl United States) My grandaughter really enjoys her book and I find it very interesting at how quickley she is able to "read" it.
Cute book, but a pain to download to the tag pen December 29, 2009 Samantha Manning (Brandon, Mississippi) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Cute idea, cute book, love the tag system, but hate that you have to download tons of stuff that has taken me hours and still don't have the book downloaded. I'm sure it's a glitch in the system, but I've had to download software that took about 30 mins, then another sign up process, then the book, and then it didn't work and it shut down my computer.. still don't have it on the pen. Why didn't the books just come with a cartridge or something?? And I didn't know that the pen didn't hold but 5 books at a time, so if your on a long trip, you can't take all your books with you.. only the 5 that will fit on the pen. Just tid bits of information I'd have liked to have known prior to my purchase. Hope it helps you:)
Fun but educational and very handy December 26, 2009 C. Schmitt (Middletown, OHio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was surprised at how well this tag reader book works, a very good value. The tag reader itself is amazing. This would be very handy for those times you can't read to the kids, like when you are driving and they are in the back seat for those long car rides. My grandaughter is only in kindergarten but is doing well at learning to read and this is one more way for her to enjoy books.
Fancy Nancy - Fun For All! January 27, 2009 Mermaid (The Atlantic Ocean) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
If your little one likes the Fancy Nancy series, she'll love this book for the Tag. The voices are great and the interactive games that test reading comprehension are excellent. It's also a nice reprieve from reading all the other Fancy Nancy books you're used to reading. It doesn't get "old" as quickly as a regular book due to its interactive nature (much like any of the other Tag books), but it's great because she's so popular with my daughter.
This one is a bit more "mature" in terms of reading comprehension. Usually my daughter can answer the game questions on her own easily enough, but with this book the "fancy" words can be a bit challenging for her (she's in Kindergarten) so I see this book lasting us a little bit longer than some of the other, more juvenile books.
Educational and Fun!
