I hate this thing July 10, 2010 J. Martin Seriously, this thing is awful. You are supposed to use the marker and "slick sticks" to remove the black finish over the picture, but it doesn't work very well and we ended up with little white bits (wax?) everywhere. My son bailed after 5 minutes. Don't waste your money.
A Total Waste! Good Concept But Doesn't Work At All!! March 15, 2010 MominVirginia (McLean, VA) My daughter wanted this more than anything for her birthday (I have TV ads to thank for that!!). Despite my sharing with her the negative reviews, she still wanted to take a chance and go for it. Well, she got it this weekend and within about 10-15 minutes, she had used up all the markers just working on her 1st drawing!! While that unfinished drawing looked kind of cool with the glasses, that was it! That's the end of the toy!! My daughter did wear the glasses for awhile and declared that she could see everything in our house in 3D! (definitely a bit of a stretch but I tried to make her happy and went along with it...!). The glassses had to be fixed constantly because they kept falling apart. So, all in all, this was a total waste. I'm feeling very disappointed in Crayola! We just visited their place in Easton, PA several months ago. My sweet, sentimental feelings are fading...

Love the whole concept of the pictures that appear when they color a black piece of paper. Great thinking.

I purchased this as a gift for my son and he loves it. I paid about $5.00 less on amazon than at Wal-Mart. Really cool 3-d effect!

My grandchild loves this product...she's always enjoyed drawing and painting and she was amazed at the 3D affect...she even shares with her 4 year old brother and it's taught her responsibility because she watches him closely as she helps him draw...she's eight...I wouldn't recommend a 4 year old using this without adult supervision...other than that...it's a good product...
