I should have read the reviews before I purchased this for our Leapster 2. The AC adapter fit the wall fine but did not plug into the Leapster cleanly. It is clearly not made for it. I have returned it. The idea is great, though. Hopefully someone will come out with a better one.

Great price for product but the cord kept coming loose from the charger plug housing.
Nothing a little gorilla glue didn't fix.

I bought this to go along with a Leapster 2 I was giving my son. The idea of going through batteries didn't impress me. At home, he uses the AC adapter and we've had no issues with it.
The main reason I bought it though, was for car trips. We go camping several times a year and because we only have one car between my husband and I, he spends more time in the car than I would like. This adapter made it so he could take the Leapster along with him. He's only been using it for about a week, so 5 car trips so far, but it has worked just as it should.

Our daughters Leapfrog 2 would quickly die using just batteries. This was a disappointment on our long road trips. We finally purchased the power pak and now we don't have to worry about our daughter not being able to use it.

At the top, it says "Other products by Leapfrog", which lead me to believe this was a Leapfrog product. I got the package and it says "Compatible with V.Smile Pocket & Cyber Pocket" and NOTHING about Leapster2. I will be returning it. Should not have come to Amazon, should have gone straight to the LeapFrog website.
